Ok, those are the pictures. Valerie is making me go to sleep now. Must sleep while the baby is sleeping, and apparently typing wakes them up! 

Grandma Maier comes for a short visit. She's happy as a clam. Grandma, that is. Kyla is wondering who all these people are. We're your family Kyla. We love you.  

Nana loves babies. "Gimme that baby!" she says. Oh, wait, that's HER mom. Sometimes I get them confused. ;) Anyway, she'll hold a grandkid anytime. 

Going Home... Mommy and baby are all dressed to leave the hospital. It was a nice rest, but now its time to start our lives back home. And bring Jojo back, as well... 

Daddy is now surrounded by women from all sides! Retreat, retreat! I am going to have to start working on my "No Boys Allowed" signs, too. Boy, I get the feeling 2018 is going to be a bad year. 

Joellyn.. meet your little sister. JoJo has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of "Baby Emmy" for months now. Then she was sequestered at Nana's house for 2 weeks (sorry, Jo, we thought it would go faster!) wonderign when this thing would happen. Now, she is quite happy and able to relax. (Hehe.) 

Kyla Celine is born. This one went quicker than JoJo--only 16 minutes of pushing (instead of 4 hours!)--but it was still a lot of work. She was worth it, thoa.

To sweet sister Valerie - YOU ROCK!

To JoJo - From one big sister to another... I hope Kyla is as special to you
as your mom is to me. Oh, and... I hope you dance.

To Kyla - We can't wait to meet you. You are a lucky little girl, to have
such a wonderful family.

Pictures Update

Sorry there are no pictures up yet. As it turned out, Val had the baby just as I arrived in Maine for a vacation. We Will probably not be able to see her until next weekend. Al is staying at the hospital and has the only known pictures of her. My mom (Kyla's grandma) went to see her but did not take pictures. So we are all out of luck until either Al posts a picture or someone visits her and emails a picture to me, and I will post it.

Updated Update: Val and Kyla are being discharged right now... stay tuned!!!

Congrats to the family.  Another girl what a blessing. We are praying for all of you.  Can't wait to see her.
